Good Glorious Morning to you!

This week is going by soooo fast. I can hardly believe that it is Thursday.

And you know what ... that is what happens with the lives of our children, too. One day you are bringing home a soft, warm, little bundle and the next thing you know this little person is walking and talking and then going to school and then graduating and so on and so on. It all goes by in a blink. This is nothing new. We've all heard this so very many times. But, I sure did not imagine when I was a young mom just how fast it would go. I can't believe my son will be 28 in April. I'm so incredibly proud of him and feel very fortunate that he is my son.

Guess what? Josh and I need our portrait taken. It has been a while. I'm starting to feel like the plumber with a leaky faucet. Josh's Dad and his family were here in January (from TX) and so we had all of them into the studio for portraits. It was such a BLAST. We got some great images. I am very happy that Josh has these portraits of his dad, Sheri and his sisters.

One day soon I am going to post a poem about having portraits taken. You will like it.

The portrait I am including today is of a young mother, her young daughter and her mother. She just contacted me recently to tell me how many compliments they get on the storyboard we did for her. She is living in London. They will be visiting their family in St. Cloud next month and have scheduled an appointment at the studio. This time with their second daughter who was born last June.

Schedule time for your children's portraits. Or portraits with the kids and Grandma. Or maybe just Grandma. You'll never regret taking the time to record your family through portraits. I promise.
